Antioxidant ZDDP

Antioxidant ZDDP

We facilitate our clients with Antioxidant Chemicals (GL 9307),, which is an inhibitor and anti-wear agent. These chemicals are secondary alkyl zinc dithiophosphate, which is reckoned in international market for high performance. For formulating water based fluids and anti-wear hydraulic turbine & gear oil, our range is recommended for use at .35 % to 1.0 % (0.25% to 0.80%v) in combination with rust inhibitor. In lubricating greases, the recommended treat rate for this antioxidant is 0.5 %-1.0 %.

Detains of antioxidant (GL 9334) are:

  • Proposed formulation for GL 9334, an inhibitor and anti-wear additive for crankcase oils is 0.7% to 2.05% by weight, 0.58% to 1.69% by volume
  • In suitable base stocks, our range provides oil inhibition, bearing corrosion protection and anti-wear properties to crankcase oils

Performance:

  • GL 9307 plus additional rust inhibitor can be formulated to meet
  • Denison HF-2 specification sheet
  • Vickers I-286-S
  • Vickers M-2950-S

Benefits of the antioxidant include:

  • Enhanced oxidation inhibition
  • Excellent anti wear protection
  • Proven field performance

Dispersant Additives

Dispersant Additives

Our range of Dispersant additives (GL 1951) is an ash less succinimide lubricating dispersant oil additive with extended thermal stability. In gasoline engines, our range provides excellent low temperature sludge and varnish control. Prepared using quality ingredients, these additives find application with alkaline detergents and corrosion & oxidation inhibitors, which are used in gasoline & diesel engine oils. Further, these additives are also effective in medium speed as well as high temperature super-charged engines. Formulation of our range is recommended at 0.5% to 5.0% by weight and volume.

Application area:

  • Lubricant and fuel additives
  • Emulsifiers
  • It diffuses sludge, carbon, soot, oxidation products, and other deposit precursors in engine oils
  • The result is reduced deposit formation, less oil oxidation, and less viscosity increase
  • An ash less dispersant additive and have low chlorine content
  • The additive is used in combination with detergent and inhibitor chemicals in crankcase engine oils for improving lubricant dispersancy properties for engines operating under low and high temperature conditions.

Handling:

  • It is handled effectively at maximum temperatures of 90°C
  • Temperature recommended for long term use is 45°C
  • Ordinary precautions to handle and blend concentrated additives into base oils should be observed

Extreme Pressure Additives

Extreme Pressure Additives

Our clients can avail from us a wide range of Extreme Pressure Additives (GL 1315) that is extensively used in formulating different industrial fluids. This light colored additive contains 40% sulfur hence are excellent pressure agent for gear oils, metalworking fluids, and hydraulic fluids.

This additive at 2% to 10% by weight is used in paraffinic or naphthenic oils for formulating ferrous metal cutting fluids. Formulated using latest technology, these additives are widely used in machining tough ferrous alloys as well as mild steel and cast iron in various operations such as:

  • Milling
  • Drilling
  • Tirmomg
  • Grimdomg
  • Light and medium-duty broaching
  • Thread cutting
  • Tapping

Viscosity Index Improver 1350

Viscosity Index Improver 1350

We offer a wide range of Viscosity Index Improver (GL 3015) that is a non-dispersant olefin co-polymer viscosity modifier. Being precision engineered, this improver is ideal for providing low-temperature performance while maintaining excellent film strength and engine test performance. This oil concentrate of an olefinic copolymer is a viscosity index improver for crankcase lubricants especially where excellent shear stability is demanded.

Characteristics:

  • There is possibility of some loss in viscosity and in viscosity index because of the shear forces encountered in engine operation
  • It applies to all viscosity index improver
  • In this respect, our range performs excellently as evidenced by an average viscosity loss of 14 % at 100° C for SAE 15W-50 crankcase oils in over the road service

Applications:

  • GL 3015 is used in suitable base stocks for preparing multi grade crankcase engine oils
  • The performance package and base stock used are the factors on which actual treatment levels depend on. A blend study is done for modifying the treatment level for a particular formulation
